Private by design
No tracking, no analytics, no ads. Your text goes only to your own Google Drive, and TypersPad can't see anything else there.

Connect Google Drive
In TypersPad, choose Cloud › Connect with Google. Your browser opens, you sign in, done.

Do the same on your other computer
Use the same Google account. Your open tabs appear within seconds, marked with the computer they came from.

Just keep typing
Changes sync a moment after you pause. Offline? Keep working; TypersPad catches up when you're back. Edited the same note on both? You keep both versions.

Windows 10 and 11. Installs just for you, no administrator rights needed, and adds TypersPad to "Open with". Prefer no install? The portable TypersPad.exe runs from anywhere.

macOS 11 or later, native on Apple Silicon and Intel. Signed and notarized by Apple. Drag TypersPad into Applications and you're set.

Questions
Do I need a Google account?
Only for sync. TypersPad works fully on its own; connect Google Drive when you want your tabs on more than one computer.
Where are my notes stored?
On your computer, and, if you turn on sync, in a TypersPad folder in your own Google Drive. Nowhere else.
What happens without internet?
Nothing changes while you work. TypersPad keeps everything locally and syncs as soon as you're back online.
What if I edit the same note on two computers?
Nothing is lost. If both versions changed before they could sync, the other version opens as a separate "conflict copy" tab.
Can Williation read my notes?
No. Your text never passes through our servers; it travels only between your computers and your Google Drive.
